Front of House Team Member
The Woolpack Inn
We’re looking for brilliant people to join the Front of House team at The Woolpack Inn.
The Woolpack is a little different.
We’re an independent inn with a market garden, award-winning food and a real passion for hospitality. We grow produce ourselves, care deeply about where our ingredients come from and take enormous pride in what we put on the plate.
But great food is only part of the experience.
For us, hospitality is about making people feel genuinely welcome. It’s about knowing when to have a chat, when to give guests space, noticing the little things and making sure everyone who visits the Woolpack leaves having had a great time.
That’s where you come in.
We’re looking for people who care
We’re looking for Front of House team members who are friendly, enthusiastic and genuinely interested in hospitality.
You might already have experience working in a restaurant, pub, hotel or other hospitality environment. Or you might be looking for your first role in the industry.
Experience Is Great, But Attitude Matters More.
We want people who are curious about food and drink, enjoy talking to people and take pride in doing things properly.
You’ll be part of a team that cares about the details — from the produce coming out of our market garden, to the food leaving the kitchen, to the way a guest is welcomed when they walk through the door.
What you’ll be doing
As part of our Front of House team, you’ll help bring the whole Woolpack experience to life.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
