Role Description

The Front Office Assistant is a full-time, on-site position based at DoubleTree by Hilton Liverpool Hotel & Spa in Liverpool. This role is responsible for greeting guests, managing check-in and check-out procedures, and ensuring that all front desk interactions are handled in a professional and timely manner.

  • Responding to guest inquiries
  • Scheduling appointments or reservations
  • Providing administrative and clerical support to the front office team

The Front Office Assistant maintains accurate records, processes payments, and coordinates with other departments to resolve guest requests and issues. The role also involves upholding brand standards, maintaining a tidy front desk area, and supporting overall guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Strong Interpersonal Skills and the ability to provide welcoming, professional service to a wide range of guests.
  • Proficient Phone Etiquette, including handling inquiries, transferring calls, and taking clear messages.
  • Experience with Appointment Scheduling and managing reservations or bookings in a hospitality or customer service setting.
  • Administrative Assistance and Clerical Skills, including data entry, record keeping, and basic document handling.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Comfort with basic computer systems and front office software; experience with hotel property management systems is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or front office roles is preferred but not required.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as operationally required.
