Location: Bath, Somerset, BA1 7JD

Salary: £38,000 per year + service charge + excellent colleague benefits

What will the role involve?

We’re looking for an inspiring and guest-focused Front Office Manager to lead our Front Office operation, overseeing both the Day and Night Teams to ensure a seamless and exceptional guest experience. As the face of the hotel, you’ll be responsible for creating memorable stays, leading by example, and ensuring every guest receives outstanding service from check-in to check-out.

  • Drive performance across the department, motivating and developing your team to achieve operational goals while continually seeking opportunities to improve service standards and ways of working.
  • Work closely with your team to foster a positive, engaging culture centred on training, development and guest satisfaction, ensuring colleagues have the skills and confidence to excel in their roles.
  • Maintain a safe, secure and welcoming environment, build strong relationships across departments, and make confident decisions to support both guests and colleagues.
  • Bring strong commercial awareness, using your understanding of labour costs, forecasting and budgets to help deliver departmental and business objectives.
  • Have a genuine passion for hospitality, enjoy leading people, and be excited to be part of a team that is committed to delivering exceptional experiences every day.

This is a full-time role working 5 days out of 7 including weekends on a rota basis, 40 hours per week, which may vary depending on business.

Flexible working hours can be accommodated where possible.

Are you Hand Picked?

  • You will have passion and pride in delivering exceptional, high-quality, personalised service to ensure our guests experiences are memorable.
  • Previous experience working at Management level within Reception or Front Office is a requirement for this role. Ideally with an 4/5-star luxury hotel. Having a good working knowledge of Opera is desirable but not essential.
  • Proven experience of managing, coaching and developing teams, and you will enjoy motivating others to be their best, achieve their goals and full potential.
  • Being driven to deliver outstanding and memorable customer service, ensuring our guests feel at home will be your passion and motivation.
  • You will be excellent at building a rapport with colleagues and guests.
  • Most of all, you will have a professional, organised and friendly approach and be able to anticipate our guests needs and create memories.
