Role Description

The Front Office Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Kingston upon Hull, England Metropolitan Area. This role oversees daily front office operations, including managing the reception desk, supervising front office team members, and ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes. The Front Office Manager coordinates room allocations, handles guest inquiries and concerns, and maintains high standards of customer satisfaction and service quality.

  • Monitoring reservations
  • Collaborating with housekeeping and other departments
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports
  • Implementing front office policies and procedures

The Front Office Manager also supports training and performance management for front office staff and contributes to initiatives that improve guest experience and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Strong front office and office administration skills, including managing reception operations and coordinating daily administrative tasks.
  • Proven ability to drive customer satisfaction and deliver excellent customer service in a hospitality or service-oriented environment.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Experience supervising or leading front office or customer-facing teams is highly beneficial.
  • Knowledge of hotel reservation systems and basic reporting tools is an advantage.
  • Ability to work on-site full time, manage multiple priorities, and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant experience in hospitality, tourism, or hotel management; a related qualification or certification is a plus.
