About Hyatt Regency Birmingham

Hyatt Regency Birmingham is ideally located in the heart of the city centre, adjacent to Symphony Hall and within walking distance of the International Convention Centre (ICC), Brindley Place, and the Bullring shopping centre. This contemporary four-star hotel offers direct access to the vibrant canal-side area and is a short stroll from Birmingham New Street Station. The hotel features 319 spacious guest rooms and suites, 12 versatile event spaces, a modern restaurant, a traditional pub-style bar, and a luxurious spa with an indoor pool and fitness centre.

Duties and responsibilities related to the Front Office Night Host/ess role

  • Assist guests during their stay, ensuring a smooth arrival and departure experience.
  • Create meaningful connections with guests and deliver memorable experiences.
  • Act as a team player, supporting colleagues with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Maximise revenue opportunities through effective upselling.

You will be expected to work 37.5 hours per week, five days out of seven, on a shift-rota basis. Night shifts will run from 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., including weekends.

Qualifications

About you:

The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing the best customer service for all our Guests, ensuring that we meet all their needs.

Ideally, you will have previous experience in a similar role, with good knowledge of hotel systems such as Opera and Reserve. You will have excellent IT and communication skills. As an organised and outgoing individual, you will not be fazed by the diverse and challenging situations you will deal with.
