Corporate Receptionist / Front of House - Law Firm - City of London

We are on the hunt for an IMMEDIATE STARTER proactive, professional individual with a warm and personable nature, to join a fabulous City law firm as their Front of House Assistant / Receptionist.

In this role, creating exceptional first impressions is paramount, so we’re looking for someone who exudes a friendly and approachable nature and undertakes all tasks with professionalism and respect.

Working as part of a team, on a Monday to Friday shift basis (detailed below), you will be responsible for providing an efficient and professional front of house and hospitality service to internal and external clients and visitors.

Shifts

This is a Monday to Friday office-based role, working shifts between 8am to 4.00pm or 9.00am to 5.00pm.

What’s on offer

Key responsibilities as the Receptionist/Front of House Assistant will include:

  • Meeting and greeting all clients and visitors in a polite and professional manner
  • Proactively assisting with any queries
  • Monitoring any waiting times and arranging any refreshments as required
  • Answering calls and transferring, taking messages, or answering any queries
  • Monitoring Front of House inbox
  • Arranging meeting room bookings and ensuring rooms are equipped as required
  • Booking and arranging travel
  • Ordering stationery and items for events (props, flowers etc)
  • Assisting the hospitality and events team with organizing events
  • Maintaining databases and records

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in a client-facing role within a busy corporate hospitality or professional services environment
  • Excellent customer service skills with an ‘above and beyond’ attitude
  • Proactive, approachable, and professional nature
  • Good administration skills
  • Competent problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to take initiative and remain calm under pressure
  • Ability to work on a shift basis in an office-based role
