About The Role
We are seeking a talented and passionate Frontend Developer with a specialization in WordPress to join our team in full-time capacity at our location in Viersen. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within agile teams that value flat hierarchies and provide ample room for creativity and individual contribution. As a Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining responsive WordPress websites that meet high standards of quality and usability. You will collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to translate design concepts into functional websites, ensuring a seamless user experience. Your expertise will be pivotal in delivering projects that are both visually appealing and technically robust, contributing significantly to the digital success of our clients and the company alike.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for WordPress development, with a deep understanding of front-end technologies and best practices. You should have a solid foundation in HTML, SCSS, JavaScript, and PHP, and be comfortable working with modern development tools. Experience with Docker and Git is essential, as they are integral to our development workflow. Familiarity with Bootstrap and Symfony frameworks is also desirable. We value candidates who prefer custom development over generic templates and who appreciate clean, efficient code. Additionally, you should be a team player, goal-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects, including medium to large-scale assignments exceeding 500 hours. Prior experience in client communication and project management is a plus, along with a proactive attitude towards learning new skills and technologies.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain existing client websites, providing support and enhancements as needed, including direct communication with clients when required.
- Independently implement complete responsive website designs into WordPress templates, ensuring high-quality standards.
- Conduct thorough technical and visual quality assurance checks on websites before deployment.
- Collaborate with team members on mid-sized to large projects, contributing to the planning, development, and implementation phases.
- Optimize website performance, security, and accessibility to deliver a superior user experience.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices to continually improve development processes.
