About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Front-End Developer specializing in React and React Native to join our dynamic Digital Solutions team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is pivotal in expanding and enhancing our digital platform, delivering seamless omni-channel services, and optimizing workflows that support our customer-facing teams. As a hands-on developer, you will be involved throughout the entire development lifecycle, from understanding customer needs and designing solutions to implementation, testing, and deployment.
In this role, your expertise in React and React Native will be essential in creating intuitive, scalable, and responsive web and mobile applications. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to shape innovative solutions that align with business objectives and technical standards. Your customer-first approach and passion for clean code will drive the development of high-quality digital experiences that meet the evolving needs of our users.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in developing with React.js and React Native, demonstrating a strong understanding of modern JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Familiarity with Redux Toolkit is essential, along with the ability to build secure, accessible, and user-friendly front-end applications. Experience working with web services and APIs, especially in integrating with external systems, is highly desirable. Knowledge of.NET and C# is advantageous but not mandatory.
Effective communication skills are critical, enabling you to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking, and a proactive attitude towards staying updated with emerging trends and best practices in web and mobile development are also required.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications utilizing React to deliver engaging user experiences.
- Create and support mobile applications using React Native, ensuring optimal performance across devices.
- Integrate applications with RESTful APIs and other web services to facilitate seamless data exchange.
- Deploy applications into production environments, supporting releases and ongoing maintenance.
- Build responsive, accessible, and well-structured user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Contribute to the architectural design and technical standards of front-end applications.
- Collaborate with business teams, architects, and other developers to gather requirements and develop solutions.
- Take ownership of projects from concept through to successful delivery, managing priorities effectively.
- Ensure solutions meet both technical standards and business needs, maintaining high quality and performance.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve development processes.
- Support and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and development.

Working Hours
Working hours are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible start times from 8:30 am to 9:30 am. Hybrid working arrangements are available, requiring a minimum of two days per week in the office.
