Frontend Developer

2 days in London office
£62,500 to £77,500

About the role

A growing climate tech company is hiring a Frontend Engineer to help build a data-heavy B2B platform used by policymakers, planners, and investors to model energy systems. You'll work on a modern, greenfield React/TypeScript codebase, with real autonomy in a small, ambitious team.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver frontend features end-to-end, working closely with product and design to build high-quality user experiences using React and TypeScript
  • Implement complex UI patterns including data tables, filtering workflows, virtualised lists, and interactive data visualisations
  • Apply performance optimisation techniques for large datasets and visualisation-heavy workloads, and help evolve the frontend architecture with reusable, composable components
  • Maintain high code quality through testing, code review, and CI/CD practices
  • Collaborate with backend engineers and contribute technical input during agile planning, refinement, and delivery

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
