About The Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Developer to take ownership of a modern React and TypeScript platform and contribute significantly to its evolution. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence the architecture, engineering standards, and overall developer experience within our organization. You will be instrumental in designing and implementing high-impact features that enhance user engagement and satisfaction across our digital products. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, and Engineering, you will drive improvements in frontend performance, accessibility, and maintainability. Your expertise will help shape the future of our platform, ensuring it remains scalable, reliable, and aligned with industry best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
  • Extensive experience (5+ years) in frontend development, with a strong focus on React (version 18+), TypeScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Proficiency in building reusable, scalable components and implementing complex UI architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with build tools such as Vite, Webpack, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of frontend performance optimization, accessibility standards, and responsive design principles.
  • Experience working with cloud services such as AWS Amplify, AppSync, and GraphQL.
  • Knowledge of internationalization (i18n) and localization practices.
  • Proficiency in testing frameworks like Vitest, Testing Library, and MSW to ensure code quality and reliability.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable features within a React 18+ and TypeScript-based application.
  • Lead the evolution of Vite-based development and build pipelines to improve efficiency and developer experience.
  • Create and maintain reusable components and establish frontend architecture patterns that promote consistency and scalability.
  • Implement accessible, responsive user interfaces utilizing Ant Design, SCSS, and modern CSS practices.
  • Integrate frontend applications with AWS Amplify, AppSync, and GraphQL services to enable seamless data flow and real-time updates.
  • Optimize frontend performance, reliability, and maintainability through best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Implement internationalization (i18n) capabilities to support multiple languages and regional settings.
  • Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure robustness and facilitate continuous deployment.
  • Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical decision-making processes to uphold quality standards.
  • Manage dependencies, security patches, and technical debt to maintain a secure and efficient codebase.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver polished, production-ready solutions on time.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve developer workflows, tooling, and frontend processes for enhanced productivity.
