We are Hiring Frontend Engineer position in Bristol, UK
6 Months contract
Hybrid Model

Frontend Engineer (CWA)
Strong Banking and Payments domain knowledge with proven experience delivering digital solutions within complex, enterprise-scale payment platforms.
- Extensive hands-on experience developing modern web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks such as React.
- Proven experience designing, developing, and implementing Micro Front End architectures in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of front-end architecture patterns, component-driven development, design systems, and reusable UI frameworks.
- Proven experience integrating front-end applications with REST APIs, backend microservices, and event-driven platforms.
- Strong understanding of secure, accessible, resilient, and high-performing web application design principles.
- Experience implementing responsive and mobile-first user interfaces that deliver excellent customer experiences across multiple devices.
- Mandatory experience working within cloud-native environments and integrating applications with services hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong understanding of modern engineering practices including CI/CD, DevSecOps, trunk-based development, feature toggles, and automated deployment pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with Git, GitHub, Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus, and modern CI/CD tooling.
- Proven ability to perform Quality Engineering activities within a Platform 3.0 engineering model, including test automation, unit testing, component testing, accessibility testing, production validation, shift-left testing, continuous testing, and automated quality gates.
- Strong experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of web accessibility standards, WCAG compliance, and inclusive design principles.
- Experience using GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted development tools, with practical prompt engineering skills to improve productivity and code quality.
- Experience with observability, monitoring, logging, and performance analysis tools such as Dynatrace.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex production issues, analyse logs, perform root cause analysis, and support highly available distributed systems.
- Experience delivering solutions within large-scale enterprise environments with strong governance, security, resilience, and operational requirements.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience working closely with Architecture, Backend Engineering, Quality Engineering, SRE, DevOps, Product Owners, and business stakeholders.
