Frontend Developer | 12 Month Contract

📍 London | Hybrid, 2 to 3 days a week
💰 Circa £400/day | Inside IR35
🏦 Major financial services transformation programme
⏳ 12 month contract | 1 position

We're looking for a frontend Developer with strong React.js and TypeScript skills to build modern, high performing web applications on a large scale financial services transformation programme.

What you'll do

  • Build reusable, scalable UI components in React.js and TypeScript
  • Convert wireframes and design mockups into responsive, pixel perfect interfaces
  • Implement WCAG accessibility standards and responsive design
  • Integrate front end applications with backend services via REST and GraphQL
  • Work within design systems and component libraries
  • Participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews, and sprint planning

What you'll need

  • Strong hands on React.js (Hooks, Context API, functional components) and TypeScript
  • Experience with Redux, Zustand, or Context API for state management
  • Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and accessibility (WCAG)
  • Comfortable working with REST APIs and GraphQL
  • Git and CI/CD pipeline experience
