Front-End Developer/UI Developer
Glasgow, UK (Onsite)

Primary Skills

Key Requirements
- Strong experience in Next.js and React.js development.
- Hands-on experience with React Server Components (RSC) and modern Next.js architecture.
- Good understanding of Server-Side Rendering (SSR), Static Site Generation (SSG), and Client Components.
- Experience building configuration-driven / metadata-driven dynamic layouts and UI frameworks.
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design.
- Strong knowledge of React state management solutions (Context API, Redux, Zustand, etc.).
- Experience integrating REST APIs and handling asynchronous data fetching.
- Familiarity with component libraries and design systems.
- Understanding of web performance optimization and accessibility standards.
- Experience with Git-based source control and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with micro-frontend architecture.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
- Exposure to headless CMS platforms and content-driven applications.

- Develop and maintain scalable front-end applications using Next.js and React.
- Design and implement dynamic, configuration-driven UI components and layouts.
- Leverage React Server Components to improve application performance and user experience.
- Collaborate with backend, product, and UX teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and maintainability.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development best practices.
Experience
- 6+ years of front-end development experience.
- At least 3+ years of hands-on experience with Next.js and modern React ecosystem.
