Senior Front End Software Engineer (Insurance - Mandatory)
🚨 Insurance industry experience is essential for this role. Applications without insurance sector experience will not be considered.
We're partnering with a leading Insurance organisation seeking a Senior Front End Software Engineer to build modern, accessible, and high-performing digital products that directly impact customers and business outcomes.
What you'll be doing:
- Developing scalable web applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript
- Building responsive, accessible user experiences aligned to WCAG 2.1 AA standards
- Collaborating with Product, Architecture, QA, and Engineering teams in an Agile environment
- Driving engineering best practice including testing, code reviews, and CI/CD
- Contributing to design systems, reusable components, and technical innovation

What we're looking for:
- 3+ years' software engineering experience
- Strong expertise in React, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Experience integrating APIs and modern web platforms
- Knowledge of front-end security, performance optimisation, and automated testing
- Previous experience working within the insurance sector (mandatory)
Desirable:
- Cloud and DevOps exposure
- Microservices and containerisation experience
- Experience in regulated environments
