About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Consultant to join our dynamic team at SLR Consulting. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert environmental advice, conducting assessments, and supporting the delivery of projects that align with our clients’ sustainability goals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of environmental regulations, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects that promote environmental stewardship and sustainable development. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and regulatory agencies to ensure project success and compliance with all relevant standards.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in environmental consulting or a similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of local and international environmental regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in environmental assessment tools, data analysis, and report writing.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental impact assessments and prepare detailed reports to support project planning and development.
- Assist clients in obtaining necessary permits and ensure compliance with environmental legislation and standards.
- Support the development and implementation of environmental management plans and strategies.
- Monitor and evaluate environmental performance throughout project lifecycles, identifying areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate environmental considerations into project design and execution.
- Engage with regulatory agencies and stakeholders to facilitate communication and ensure project approval processes are smooth.
- Stay updated on emerging environmental issues, regulations, and technologies to provide current and relevant advice.
- Contribute to business development activities by preparing proposals and participating in client meetings.
