Contract Front End Developer (React / Next.js / JavaScript / Node.js)
Location: UK Remote (WFH) Contract Length: Up to 6 Months Rate: c£500/day
Build Something from the Ground Up.
We're working with an innovative technology organisation embarking on an exciting greenfield development programme and are looking to engage an experienced Front End Developer to play a key role in designing and delivering a modern, high-performance web platform.
This isn't about maintaining legacy applications. You'll be helping to shape a brand-new product, influencing technical decisions and working alongside a highly collaborative engineering team using the latest technologies and best development practices.

The Role
As a Front End Developer you'll be responsible for designing and developing scalable, responsive web applications from scratch. You'll work closely with Product, UX and Backend Engineers to transform concepts into intuitive customer-facing solutions.
You'll have the opportunity to contribute to architecture, component design and engineering standards as the platform evolves.
What You'll Be Doing
- Developing modern web applications using React, Next.js and JavaScript
- Building reusable UI components and scalable front-end architecture
- Working alongside Node.js developers to integrate APIs and backend services
- Contributing to technical design and architectural decisions
- Writing clean, maintainable and well-tested code
- Collaborating within an Agile development environment
- Helping establish best practices for a brand-new engineering platform

Skills & Experience
We're looking for developers with strong commercial experience in:
- React
- Next.js
- JavaScript (ES6+)
- Node.js
- Modern Front End Architecture
- RESTful API integration
- Responsive Web Development
- Git
- Agile delivery environments
Experience with TypeScript, cloud platforms or CI/CD pipelines would be advantageous but isn't essential.
