Company Description
Adamo is a London-based robotics startup building a high-performance teleoperation engine that enables real-time control of humanoids and autonomous vehicles with sub-40ms latency.
Job Description
You will build the interface layer between humans and robots, developing the core operator dashboard at Adamo. This role involves implementing WebXR views, 3D point cloud rendering, and real-time video streaming. You'll bridge the gap between traditional frontend engineering and high-performance game development to ensure near-zero latency control for frontier robotics.
Location
London, UK
Why this role is remarkable
- Work on the frontier of robotics teleoperation, solving the latency limitations of WebRTC for humanoids and autonomous vehicles.
- Join an early-stage team where you define the interaction patterns for how operators control complex machinery in real time.
- Bridge the gap between web technologies and game development by building high-performance 3D and VR interfaces at the sub-40ms level.
What You Will Do

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
- Develop and refine the WebXR operator interface, integrating stereo video, head pose tracking, and gamepad inputs for robot control.
- Implement complex 3D visualizations, including real-time lidar point cloud rendering using Three.js and WebGL.
- Enhance the adamo-react SDK to provide robust React hooks and components for third-party robotics companies to build custom operators.
The ideal candidate
- Possesses deep expertise in React and TypeScript with a background in game development or VR engineering using WebXR or Three.js.
- Demonstrates experience building performance-critical applications where frame rates and millisecond-level latency are the primary constraints.
- Brings a strong design sense to create clean, usable interfaces that remain effective for operators working under high-pressure scenarios.
