About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality environmental assessments, reports, and consultancy services to a diverse range of clients. You will work closely with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure that all projects meet regulatory requirements, industry standards, and client expectations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science or related fields, excellent communication skills, and a passion for sustainable development. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise in environmental consultancy while contributing to impactful projects that promote environmental protection and social responsibility.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geography, or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in environmental consultancy or assessment
  • Strong knowledge of environmental legislation, permitting processes, and environmental impact assessment (EIA)
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools such as GIS, MS Office, and environmental modeling programs
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proactive attitude, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Conducting environmental site assessments
  • Preparing environmental impact assessments
  • Supporting project planning and execution
  • Collecting and analyzing environmental data
  • Preparing technical reports
  • Ensuring compliance with local, national, and international environmental regulations
  • Collaborating with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to facilitate project approvals and permits
  • Assisting in developing environmental management plans and sustainability strategies tailored to client needs
  • Monitoring project progress and providing technical guidance to junior team members
  • Staying updated on emerging environmental issues, legislation, and best practices to continuously enhance service quality and project outcomes
