About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Consultant to join our dynamic team at SLR Consulting. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and technical support on environmental assessments, impact studies, and sustainability initiatives. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive solutions tailored to client needs, ensuring compliance with local and international environmental standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professionals passionate about environmental stewardship and eager to make a tangible impact through innovative consulting services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Proven experience in environmental consulting, impact assessments, or regulatory compliance is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in relevant software tools such as GIS and environmental modeling software are essential.
- Thorough understanding of environmental legislation and standards applicable in the regions they will serve.
- Proactive attitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental assessments, including baseline studies, impact assessments, and risk analyses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory frameworks.
- Prepare detailed reports, technical documentation, and presentation materials for clients and regulatory authorities.
- Assist in the development and implementation of sustainability strategies and environmental management plans.
- Engage with stakeholders, including government agencies, clients, and community groups, to communicate project objectives and environmental considerations.
- Monitor ongoing projects to ensure adherence to environmental standards and best practices, providing corrective recommendations as needed.
- Stay updated on emerging environmental regulations, industry trends, and technological advancements to continuously enhance service offerings.
- Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals, presentations, and client meetings.
