About The Role

We are currently seeking a skilled Front-End Developer to join our team on a fully remote basis within the UK. This role offers the flexibility of working from home with occasional in-person meetings in Leicester when necessary. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in JavaScript and React, with a focus on developing scalable and efficient web applications. You will be responsible for translating design mockups and technical specifications into high-quality, maintainable code that enhances user experience and performance. Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess 2–3 years of commercial experience in front-end development, with a strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience working with React.js is essential, along with a solid understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility. Candidates should have a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for writing clean, maintainable code. A background in working within Agile development teams and familiarity with version control systems such as Git will be advantageous. Additionally, strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams are vital for success in this role.

Responsibilities

As a Front-End Developer, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Translating UI/UX designs into functional web applications using React and JavaScript
  • Developing and maintaining scalable front-end components, ensuring optimal performance and responsiveness across devices and browsers
  • Collaborating closely with back-end developers, designers, and project managers, participating in sprint planning, code reviews, and testing to ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Troubleshooting and resolving bugs, implementing new features, and continuously improving the user interface based on user feedback
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in front-end development to keep our applications innovative and competitive
