About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Frontend Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will take ownership of a modern React and TypeScript-based platform, playing a pivotal part in shaping its architecture and future development. Your expertise will influence engineering standards, enhance developer experience, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, accessible, and user-centric digital solutions. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on impactful projects that serve a global customer base, fostering innovation and technical excellence.

As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, and Engineering to drive frontend improvements. Your responsibilities will include designing reusable components, optimizing application performance, and implementing best practices in frontend development. You will have the autonomy to make technical decisions, challenge existing approaches, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and excellence within the team.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in frontend development with extensive experience in React and TypeScript. A solid understanding of modern JavaScript, HTML, and CSS is essential. Proven experience with frontend build tools such as Vite, and familiarity with cloud services like AWS Amplify, AppSync, and GraphQL, is highly desirable. Candidates should have a good grasp of responsive design principles, accessibility standards, and internationalization (i18n) practices. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment are crucial. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred, along with several years of relevant professional experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality features within a React 18+ and TypeScript application, ensuring scalability and robustness.
  • Own and continuously improve Vite-based development and build tooling to streamline workflows.
  • Create reusable, scalable components and establish frontend architecture patterns for consistency and efficiency.
  • Develop accessible, responsive user interfaces utilizing Ant Design, SCSS, and best practices in UI/UX design.
  • Integrate frontend components with AWS Amplify, AppSync, and GraphQL services to enable seamless data interactions.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance frontend performance, reliability, and maintainability, including monitoring and optimization.
  • Implement internationalization (i18n) features to support multiple languages and regional formats.
  • Write comprehensive unit and integration tests using tools such as Vitest, Testing Library, and MSW to ensure code quality and stability.
  • Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical decision-making to uphold engineering standards.
  • Manage dependencies, security updates, and technical debt to maintain a secure and efficient codebase.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver polished, production-ready solutions on time.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve developer experience, tooling, and frontend workflows for better productivity.
