About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Digital Solutions Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing digital solutions that align with the strategic goals of DWP Digital. Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Extensive experience in digital solution development, including familiarity with modern programming languages, frameworks, and cloud technologies, is essential. Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working within government or large organizational contexts are highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams, and a commitment to continuous professional development. Certifications in project management, digital design, or specific technical areas will be considered an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop digital solutions that meet the needs of DWP Digital’s diverse user base, ensuring accessibility and usability standards are upheld.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and establish technical specifications.
- Lead or contribute to the full lifecycle of digital projects, from initial concept through deployment and ongoing maintenance.
- Conduct testing and quality assurance to ensure solutions are robust, secure, and perform optimally.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices, recommending enhancements to existing systems and processes.
- Document technical specifications and user guides to facilitate smooth knowledge transfer and future development efforts.
