About the Role
Hiredbuddy is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Frontend Developer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this entry-level role, you will work closely with senior developers and product managers to build and enhance user-facing features for our web applications. You will be responsible for translating UI/UX design wireframes into high-quality, responsive code, ensuring a seamless experience across all devices and browsers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Collaborate with designers to implement pixel-perfect UI components
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
- Debug and resolve front-end performance and accessibility issues
- Stay up-to-date with emerging front-end technologies and tools
- Work in an agile environment, attending daily standups and sprint planning sessions
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams including backend developers, QA, and product
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools

Technologies You'll Work With
- HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)
- Modern front-end frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular (we primarily use React)
- CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS
- Build tools like Webpack, Vite, or Parcel
- Version control with Git and GitHub/GitLab
- Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON
- Familiarity with testing libraries such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress is a plus

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Foundational knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Understanding of responsive design principles
- Familiarity with at least one front-end framework (React preferred)
- Basic knowledge of version control systems (Git)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and take on challenges
