About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Frontend Developer to join our client's dynamic technology team in South Manchester. This is a pivotal role within a fast-growing financial services business that is revolutionizing the lending experience through innovative digital solutions. The successful candidate will work directly alongside the CEO and senior leadership, contributing significantly to shaping the company's technology strategy and product development. This role offers a unique opportunity to take ownership of projects, influence technical decisions, and develop solutions that have a meaningful impact on the organization’s growth trajectory.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in frontend development, particularly with React, and have a keen interest in emerging technologies such as AI integrations. You will be involved in designing and building modern, responsive web applications, deploying solutions using Vercel, and developing scalable backend integrations with Supabase. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative digital products that enhance user experience and operational efficiency.

Qualifications
- Proven commercial experience developing applications using React.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Supabase for building scalable solutions.
- Experience deploying applications with Vercel or similar platforms.
- Solid knowledge of API integration and development.
- Experience working with SQL databases and writing efficient queries.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Playwright or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Python for supporting backend services and automation tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain modern, responsive web applications using React.
- Deploy and manage applications on Vercel, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
- Build and implement scalable backend solutions utilizing Supabase, including authentication, databases, storage, and other backend services.
- Integrate internal and third-party APIs seamlessly into applications to enhance functionality.
- Develop automated testing scripts and frameworks using Playwright to ensure application robustness.
- Support and enhance backend services and automation workflows using Python.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to manage and retrieve data efficiently.
- Collaborate closely with the CEO and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative digital solutions aligned with business goals.
- Research, explore, and implement AI-powered features, including integrations with Large Language Models (LLMs) and intelligent automation tools, to enhance product offerings.
