Front End Web Developer
6 Months Initial Contract, ASAP Start
£400-£420 per day (Inside IR35)
Hybrid Working - 3 Days Per Week Onsite in Coventry
We are currently seeking an experienced Front End Web Developer to join a major digital transformation programme for a leading organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the development of modern, customer-facing digital platforms, leveraging the latest front-end technologies alongside Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and developing high-performing, accessible, responsive web applications and websites, working closely with architects, designers, product owners, and delivery teams to deliver exceptional digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop front-end websites and applications using modern technologies and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
- Build modular, reusable front-end components using React.
- Develop using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6), SASS/LESS, and Node.js.
- Work with AEM Components, Client Libraries (Clientlibs), HTL/Sightly templates, and authoring dialogs.
- Deliver responsive, cross-browser compatible solutions optimised for performance.
- Implement and maintain web accessibility standards, ensuring WCAG 2.0 AA compliance.
- Apply secure coding practices and support adherence to OWASP security standards.
- Manage source code through Git version control.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including planning, estimation, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Conduct code reviews and contribute to technical best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong commercial experience developing applications with React and modern front-end frameworks.
- Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6), SASS/LESS, and Node.js.
- Proven experience working within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) environments.
- Strong understanding of: AEM Component Development; HTL/Sightly; Clientlibs; Dialog Configuration
- Experience with Git and front-end build tooling.
- Strong knowledge of responsive design, performance optimisation, and web accessibility.
- Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 and secure development practices.

Preferred Experience
- 10+ years of experience in Front End/UI Development.
- Extensive experience delivering solutions using React and modern front-end technologies.
- Experience within one or more of the following sectors: Utilities, Water, Energy, Manufacturing, Infrastructure
