About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Consultant to join our dynamic team at SLR Consulting. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting environmental assessments, supporting project planning and implementation, and ensuring compliance with relevant environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in environmental science or related fields, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to impactful projects that promote sustainable development and environmental protection.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Geology, or a related discipline (Master’s degree preferred)
  • 2-5 years of relevant professional experience in environmental consulting or a related field
  • Solid understanding of environmental legislation, impact assessments, and data analysis techniques
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software such as GIS, AutoCAD, or environmental modeling tools
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for site visits

Responsibilities

  • Conducting environmental site assessments
  • Preparing detailed reports
  • Supporting project managers in delivering high-quality solutions
  • Conducting field surveys and collecting and analyzing environmental data
  • Ensuring compliance with local, national, and international environmental regulations
  • Assisting in the development of environmental management plans
  • Contributing to environmental impact assessments (EIAs)
  • Participating in stakeholder engagement activities
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and regulatory agencies
