Front-End Software Engineer | £50,000 + bonus | Wigan (monthly)

Fancy building something that millions of people rely on, without being tied to a desk five days a week?

G.Digital are looking for a Front-End Software Engineer to join a growing development team, working on real products used by a large customer base.

You'll be building and improving web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript and React or Vue, working alongside developers, designers and product teams.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing responsive websites and applications using modern Front-End technologies
  • Working with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML and CSS
  • Using React or Vue
  • Building reusable components and working with Storybook
  • Making sure applications are accessible and meet WCAG 2.x Level AA
  • Working with APIs and back-end developers
  • Testing your work, including accessibility testing
  • Taking part in code reviews and helping other developers where needed
  • Working with Product and Design to turn ideas and designs into working applications
