About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT projects. You will serve as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall. Your primary focus will be to coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project risks, and deliver innovative solutions that align with our clients' strategic objectives. Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile Certified Practitioner is highly desirable. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience managing IT projects, with a proven track record of delivering successful outcomes. Strong knowledge of project management tools and software, such as MS Project, Jira, or Trello, is essential. Excellent organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work under pressure are critical for this role. Additionally, effective stakeholder management and excellent interpersonal skills are necessary to foster positive working relationships with clients and team members alike.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, to ensure project objectives are clearly defined and achievable.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to execute project tasks efficiently, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
- Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project status, challenges, and successes.
- Manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and optimal resource utilization.
- Facilitate project meetings, document decisions, and ensure all project documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Foster a collaborative team environment and promote best practices in project management to enhance overall project delivery.
- Continuously evaluate project performance and implement improvements for future initiatives.
