Front-End Engineer (React and TypeScript)

Remote-first (UK) | One day a week in the office, South West

A world-leading, sports brand has just been backed by a major private equity firm, and it is using that moment to do something rare. It is taking a physical sport that millions of people already play and building the software that brings it online.

Cameras and computer vision watch live play, then turn it into online matches, real-time stats and training tools. Real product. Live, engaged users. Instant feedback on everything you ship.

You would join a small, cross-functional team and own the React and TypeScript apps behind the web and mobile experience. You will work shoulder to shoulder with a backend team (Go microservices on Kubernetes), and with the iOS, Android, DevOps, Computer Vision, Design and Product people who make the product what it is.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
