About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Developer to join our dynamic team at Hackajob Ltd. Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in software development, with proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, is essential. Familiarity with modern development frameworks, version control systems, and agile methodologies is highly desirable. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team are key qualities for this position. Additionally, excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving will contribute to success in this role.

Responsibilities

The Software Developer will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and deploying software applications that meet business requirements. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand project needs
  • Developing technical specifications
  • Ensuring code quality through rigorous testing and code reviews
  • Maintaining and updating existing systems to improve performance and security
  • Troubleshooting issues
  • Providing technical support as needed
  • Participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure timely delivery of features and enhancements
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve our development processes and product offerings
