About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at Hackajob Ltd. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and enhancing our platform, ensuring a seamless experience for both candidates and clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our users. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in software development, with proficiency in languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of web technologies, APIs, and database systems.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude towards learning and development.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient software solutions to support our platform’s growth and functionality.
  • Collaborate with product teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
  • Implement and optimize APIs and integrations with third-party services.
  • Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, providing timely resolutions to ensure platform stability.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate best practices into our development processes.
  • Contribute to documentation and technical guidelines to facilitate team knowledge sharing.
