Frontend Engineer Specialist

Contract

$90 - $140/hour

Remote

10 - 40 hours/week

Responsibilities

  • Analyze frontend engineering decisions and provide clear written rationales
  • Evaluate code samples and provide actionable written feedback on architectures
  • Produce technical documents such as RFCs and design notes for development
  • Communicate frontend concepts clearly, focusing on optimization and accessibility
  • Participate in code review simulations and provide constructive commentary
  • Contribute expert insights that influence AI model development in frontend tasks
  • Create documentation that supports understanding of architectural choices and strategies

Requirements

  • Strong years of experience in frontend engineering with JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Proficient in React or comparable frameworks and modern HTML/CSS practices
  • Strong skills in technical writing, including RFCs and code review feedback
  • Solid understanding of component architecture and state management patterns
  • Familiarity with performance optimization and rendering strategies
  • Exceptional written communication skills for diverse audiences
  • Experience with accessibility best practices for inclusive web development
