Overview
We're partnering with a fast-growing technology business building innovative AI-powered products used by customers across multiple markets. Following significant growth and continued investment, they're looking to add an experienced Frontend-Leaning Full Stack Engineer to their engineering team.
This is an opportunity to join a highly collaborative, product-focused environment where engineers have genuine ownership, autonomy, and influence over technical decisions.
While the role has a strong focus on building exceptional frontend experiences using React and TypeScript, strong Python experience is essential, as you'll also be responsible for developing backend services, APIs, and AI-driven functionality that powers the platform.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain modern web applications using React and TypeScript.
- Design and build backend services, APIs, and application logic using Python and Django.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Design teams to deliver intuitive, user-focused experiences.
- Champion UI/UX best practices, accessibility, and responsive design.
- Build features across the full stack from concept through to production.
- Contribute to AI-powered product development and intelligent workflows.
- Design, build, and optimize scalable, cloud-based applications within AWS.
- Drive improvements in performance, reliability, and user experience.
- Participate in architectural discussions and technical decision-making.

What We're Looking For
- Strong commercial experience as a Full Stack Engineer.
- Strong backend development experience with Python and Django.
- Excellent frontend development skills using React and TypeScript.
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and modern web application design.
- Experience building responsive and accessible web applications.
- Commercial experience working within AWS environments.
- A product-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences.
- Experience working autonomously within modern engineering teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Exposure to AI-powered applications, LLMs, or AI-assisted development workflows would be highly beneficial.
