Job Summary
As a Frontend Software Engineer, you will be part of a highly collaborative, agile, and empowered product delivery team, dedicated to building the interfaces our brands and shoppers use to experience AI-driven personalisation, recommendations, and agentic decisioning in real time.
You'll own the React/TypeScript front end of our platform end-to-end, from performant, low-latency on-site experiences to the internal tools our teams use to configure and monitor AI agents, working closely with the backend engineers (Go, C#/.NET) and AI/ML teams who power them.
This is a great opportunity to work in an environment that embraces cutting-edge technologies, with a strong focus on React, TypeScript, and modern front-end architecture for AI-powered products. Exposure to, or an appetite to pick up, Go and/or C#/.NET is a genuine plus, since you'll frequently be working across the API boundary with those services.
We're looking for someone who is passionate about writing high-quality front-end software and thrives in a collaborative team environment.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Collaborating closely with backend engineers on Go and C#/.NET services to help shape clean, well-documented APIs that serve the front end well
- Building and maintaining reusable component libraries and design-system foundations across our product suite
- Optimising for performance, accessibility, and reliability, including in edge/onsite personalisation contexts where flicker and load time are critical
- Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices (e.g., SOLID principles, component-driven design)
- Collaborating within an agile, Scrum-driven team, participating in sprints and planning sessions
- Contributing to automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring production front-end systems
- Engaging in peer code reviews and mentoring junior engineers to support knowledge-sharing and team growth

- Familiar with git or other distributed source control systems
- A problem-solver with a proactive approach to diagnosing and resolving issues
- Passionate about writing clean, maintainable, and scalable front-end code
- Experience building and maintaining automated test suites with Cypress/Jest, or similar

Nice to have
- Experience with Go and/or C#/.NET enough to read, debug, or contribute to the services your UI talks to is a strong plus
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure)
