Job Title: Support Role for Costain – Reactor Height Reduction Project (Trawsfynydd Site, North Wales)

Location: Nuclear Restoration Services (NRS), Trawsfynydd Site, North Wales

About the Role

Join Costain on their flagship 3.5-year Reactor Height Reduction Project at Nuclear Restoration Services (NRS), an unprecedented initiative within the nuclear sector. This project involves:

  • The partial demolition of each Reactor Building (RB) to reduce height and asset management liabilities
  • Delivery of a comprehensive package of civil new-build and remedial works to extend the durability of retained structures

A first-of-its-kind for the nuclear industry, this high-impact project will: ✔ Significantly reduce uncertainty over the condition of reactor buildings ✔ Minimise the visual impact of reactor buildings on the Snowdonia National Park ✔ Engage a broad supply chain
