The Opportunity

We're looking for a Frozen Logistics Coordinator to join our Bedworth Transport team on a full time, permanent day shift.

As a Frozen Logistics Coordinator you will take ownership of supplier relationships, support the smooth running of the onsite warehouse and transport operation and execute our export operations legally and efficiently, delivering a first class service across the supply chain. The role involves a combination of administrative, operational and customer service focused tasks. You will be a highly organised, service focused individual who enjoys building strong working relationships and solving problems for customers. The role will also support the wider operation through collaborative working across the team where required.

Role Details

  • Salary: Up to £33,000 per annum
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week
  • Working Pattern: Days - Any 5 from 7 (Primarily Monday to Friday)
  • Working Hours: 09:00 AM to 17:00 PM
  • Location: Gist Ltd, St Davids Way, Bermuda Park, Nuneaton, CV10 7SE

What You'll Be Doing

Your key accountabilities will include:

  • Take ownership of supplier relationships and work collaboratively with the M&S Supply Chain teams to ensure maximum availability of products for the stores
  • Ensure export processes are executed accurately and are always fully compliant with legal regulations. You will be responsible for keeping up to date with changes in legislation as the UK government evolves its trade relationships with the EU and the rest of the world following Brexit
  • Provide the highest level of customer service, problem solving and/or escalation of live issues
  • Ensuring suppliers have a positive experience by resolving complaints, addressing issues, and ensuring that our service level is kept to a high standard
  • Work collaboratively with our third-party warehouse provider to identify, address and improve any inbound inaccuracies, providing feedback to suppliers as and where required
  • Support with covering duties of peer groups during periods of holiday & absence: Frozen Coordinators, Transport Coordinators
  • Provide peer to peer training and ensure that employees understand company procedures and customer service expectations
  • Handle day-to-day administrative tasks such as filing reports, tracking performance metrics and processing export & supplier related paperwork
  • Build strong working relationships internally and externally
  • Any other duties advised by your manager.
  • Conduct yourselves in a way that is aligned to the Gist vision and values

What We're Looking For

Your skills and experience will include:

  • Proven experience in a Logistics Coordinator, Transport Coordinator, Supply Chain Coordinator, or similar operational role
  • Experience managing and coordinating export activities, with knowledge of export documentation and compliance requirements
  • Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to resolve issues quickly and professionally
  • Experience working within a retail, FMCG, food, frozen, or temperature-controlled logistics environment
  • Knowledge of Brexit-related export processes and customs requirements
  • Experience working with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and external suppliers.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), transport management systems (TMS), or ERP systems
