More About The Role
Our Fruit & Veg counters are a huge part of what makes our stores special. As Team Leader, you’ll lead our Fruit & Veg team to keep our produce fresh, our displays vibrant, and our shelves well-stocked for our local shoppers every day.
In this role, you’ll be on hand to:
- Put customers first: Inspire your team to deliver friendly, helpful service, placing customers at the heart of everything you do and acting on their feedback.
- Maintain exceptional standards: Reduce waste and keep quality sky-high through careful stock handling, date code checking, rotation, and proper storage.
- Lead and support your team: Coordinate day-to-day department communication, creating an engaging, supportive environment where achievements are recognised and ideas are welcomed.
- Keep operations running smoothly: Analyse department data to simplify routines, speed up processes, and ensure all safety, quality, and legal guidelines are met.

- Organises and delivers with care: Experienced in planning workloads to meet strict daily deadlines, keeping routines on track even when the store gets busy.
