We are supporting a leading global financial services organisation in the appointment of an Indirect Tax Consultant to join its international tax team on an initial six-month contract. Due to a combination of ongoing projects and increased workload, there is a strong expectation that the assignment could extend to 12 months.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting the indirect tax team on VAT and GST matters across EMEA and wider international territories.
  • Reviewing VAT return data and challenging outputs to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Liaising with finance teams, tax authorities and external advisers on tax audits, enquiries and technical matters.
  • Providing practical indirect tax advice to stakeholders across the business.
  • Assisting with tax authority information requests and audit responses.
  • Supporting indirect tax projects, process improvements and systems enhancements.
  • Assisting with VAT registrations, deregistrations and ongoing compliance obligations across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Working closely with offshore and international teams to maintain effective tax processes and controls.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
