The Opportunity

Our client is a well-established business operating within the fire and security sector, and they are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially aware and technically knowledgeable Project Manager to take ownership of fire and security installation projects from initial planning through to successful completion.

The role will involve a combination of project management, customer liaison and site-based activity, with regular travel required across a portfolio of customer sites. A hybrid working arrangement is available to support the requirements of the position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of fire and security installation projects from initiation through to completion.
  • Manage projects involving Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control and Door Entry Systems.
  • Coordinate and oversee installation teams, subcontractors and other project resources.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within agreed budgets and to the required quality standards.
  • Ensure all works comply with relevant industry regulations, standards and customer requirements.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, resources and key milestones.
  • Carry out regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, safety and overall project delivery.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify potential risks and issues at an early stage and implement effective solutions.
  • Provide clear communication and regular updates to customers, internal teams and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure projects are completed to a high standard, with customer satisfaction remaining a key priority.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
