The role
Are you passionate about building food safety standards and systems across multiple countries, and driving food safety culture to the next level?
As an International Food Safety and Quality Assurance Manager (all genders), you will join a lean, fast-paced cross-functional team responsible for managing our International Safety Quality and Operational Compliance based in one of our European offices, supporting Factor_ operations.
As part of your responsibilities as International Food Safety and Quality Assurance Manager you’ll collaboratively work to mitigate risk, drive standards and operational excellence, while ensuring the consumer gets safe and high quality ingredients.
Above all, we are looking for people who will make HelloFresh better. We believe there are many different ways of developing skills and we love diverse experiences! So even if you don’t “tick all the boxes” but think you’d thrive in this role, we would really like to learn more about you.
What you’ll do
- You’ll work closely with international Procurement teams to support the implementation of the Food Safety & Quality strategy for products supplied to Factor_ manufacturing facilities, ensuring compliance with HelloFresh Group standards.
- By leading strategic and innovative projects, you’ll help ensure a consistent supply of safe, high-quality products to Factor_ manufacturing facilities while developing templates, procedures and processes to support the standardized implementation of central policies.
- You’ll drive continuous improvement initiatives by coordinating the sharing of relevant information and best practices across HelloFresh Group regions and translating these insights into actionable improvements.
- Building strong relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders will be key, working closely with Procurement, Factor_ teams, suppliers and other functions to ensure effective collaboration.
- You’ll proactively identify and assess key risks within your categories, establish appropriate mitigation methodologies, and manage supplier and product onboarding in line with HelloFresh Group requirements.
- Through regular analysis of customer complaint trends related to product quality and packaging, you’ll identify improvement opportunities, conduct root cause analyses across the supply chain through to Factor_ manufacturing facilities, and implement corrective actions. You’ll also support Factor_ teams with serious customer complaint investigations and recalls.
- You’ll conduct Food Safety & Quality audits at supplier production sites against HelloFresh Group standards, while role-modelling our HelloFresh Group values and the International Safety, Quality & Operational Compliance vision.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
