About Specsavers

At Specsavers, we're on a mission to change lives through better sight and hearing, and behind that mission is a team that ensures our services are billed accurately and efficiently. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced billing professional to play a vital role in supporting the smooth running of our finance operations, helping us deliver outstanding value while providing an exceptional service to colleagues, partners, and external stakeholders.

Role Overview

Working within our Audiology Billing team, you'll support the full NHS billing cycle, with responsibilities varying throughout the month. From validating and analyzing billing data, through pricing and contract validation, to producing data submissions for NHS Integrated Care Boards and generating invoices, you'll gain exposure to a broad range of financial and analytical activities. You'll also support payment processes for our stores, investigate billing discrepancies, reconcile accounts, calculate accruals, deferred income, and commission payments, and contribute to the continuous improvement of billing processes and systems.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with NHS stakeholders while acting as a central link between multiple teams across and outside Finance. You'll develop valuable skills in data validation, data analysis, and stakeholder management, working with large and complex data sets that directly support the delivery of our audiology services.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
