Digital Marketing Executive - FTC - 15 months
Are you a hands-on digital marketer who enjoys owning campaigns from idea through to optimisation?
Do you like combining creativity with data to understand what works – and what to improve next?
Would you enjoy a varied role spanning SEO, PPC, HubSpot, WordPress, content and social media?
Our client is looking for a Digital Marketing Executive to join their marketing team and take ownership of a broad range of digital activity.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants more than simply executing a marketing calendar. You'll have the freedom to manage campaigns, optimise digital channels, analyse performance and use those insights to influence future marketing activity.
Working closely with the wider marketing team, you'll help ensure digital sits at the heart of campaigns while becoming a key point of expertise for the organisation's website and HubSpot platform.
Why This Role is Great
You'll get the opportunity to take real ownership of digital marketing activity, including:
- Creating and managing digital campaigns across search, display and targeted channels, with a focus on lead generation and conversion.
- Developing campaign strategies and briefs, defining objectives, KPIs and deliverables before tracking performance against them.
- Managing and improving the website, using WordPress to maintain content and create a strong, conversion-focused online experience.
- Building your expertise in SEO and SEM, ensuring website, blog and campaign content is optimised for visibility, engagement and conversion.
- Running and optimising PPC campaigns, including activity across Google and LinkedIn.
- Taking ownership of HubSpot, supporting Sales and Marketing functionality and helping resolve issues and improve how the platform is used.
- Using analytics to improve performance, monitoring traffic, campaigns and budgets to identify opportunities and maximise ROI.
- Creating engaging digital content for websites, blogs, social media and e-communications.
- Growing social media performance, particularly across LinkedIn and YouTube, through campaigns designed to increase reach and engagement.
- Turning data into useful insight, producing regular reports that explain performance and recommend what should happen next.
- Working with internal colleagues and external specialists to continually improve digital marketing activity.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
