At GoFibre, we're expanding our full fibre network and looking for an experienced FTTP Install Engineer to join our growing team. If you're passionate about delivering a great customer experience, take pride in high-quality installations and enjoy working outdoors, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

As an FTTP Install Engineer, you'll play a key role in connecting homes and businesses to GoFibre's full fibre network. Working independently and alongside colleagues, you'll be responsible for delivering safe, professional and high-quality installations from start to finish.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Installing and commissioning FTTP broadband services
  • Fibre cabling, blowing, splicing and termination activities
  • Testing and fault-finding using OTDR and fibre testing equipment
  • Working on overhead and underground PIA networks
  • Completing site surveys and installation documentation
  • Maintaining high Health & Safety standards at all times
  • Delivering an exceptional customer experience during every visit
  • Ensuring all work is completed to company and industry standards

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who already has hands-on experience within fibre installation and can confidently work in both customer-facing and network environments.

You'll ideally have:

  • Experience working on FTTP networks
  • Fibre splicing and testing experience
  • Knowledge of overhead and underground network installation
  • Experience using OTDR and fibre testing equipment
  • Working at Height experience
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Great communication and customer service skills
