Role Description
The Fuel Operations Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Colnbrook, responsible for safe and efficient fuel handling operations. This role involves:

- Monitoring fuel systems
- Performing routine checks on equipment
- Conducting preventive maintenance to ensure reliability and compliance with operational standards
- Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues
- Coordinating with supervisors and colleagues to resolve faults
- Accurately recording operational data, inspections, and maintenance activities

Daily responsibilities also include:
- Adhering to safety procedures
- Supporting fuel quality control processes
- Communicating clearly with internal teams and external partners to maintain smooth, continuous operations
Qualifications
- Strong Troubleshooting and Preventive Maintenance skills to identify, diagnose, and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
- Solid Analytical Skills to interpret technical data, monitor system performance, and support operational decision-making.
- Effective Communication skills to coordinate with team members, report incidents, and follow clear operational instructions.
- Foundational knowledge of Electricity for working safely with fuel systems, pumps, and related electrical components.
- Relevant technical qualification or apprenticeship in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering is beneficial.
- Previous experience in fuel operations, energy infrastructure, aviation fuel, or industrial plant operations is an advantage.
- Strong commitment to safety, adherence to procedures, and ability to work shifts or flexible hours as required.
- Ability to work collaboratively on-site in Colnbrook, with reliable attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping.
