Role Description

The Fuel Supply and Logistics Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Ellesmere Port. This role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end fuel supply planning, including forecasting demand, coordinating procurement, and managing inventory levels to ensure reliable and efficient operations. The individual will organize and monitor logistics activities, such as scheduling deliveries, optimizing transportation routes, and liaising with suppliers, distributors, and internal stakeholders. Daily tasks include tracking shipment performance, resolving disruptions in the supply chain, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. The role will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, support decarbonisation and cost-optimization efforts, and prepare regular reports on supply performance, risks, and operational metrics.
