About the role

Lead the operation that keeps our customers moving

We're looking for an experienced Fulfilment Manager to take ownership of our picking, packing and dispatch operation, ensuring orders are delivered safely, accurately and on time.

Reporting to the Head of Warehouse Operations, you'll lead a team of six Team Leaders and be responsible for translating demand into effective labour plans, balancing workflow across shifts, and driving operational excellence throughout the fulfilment function.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment and enjoys developing people, improving processes and delivering outstanding service performance.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading the day-to-day fulfilment operation across picking, packing and dispatch.
  • Creating labour and shift plans that align resources with customer demand.
  • Monitoring performance throughout the shift and proactively managing operational challenges.
  • Ensuring carrier cut-off times are achieved and customer orders are dispatched on time.
  • Coaching, developing and holding six Team Leaders accountable for performance, safety and operational standards.
  • Driving improvements in productivity, quality and workflow efficiency.
  • Working closely with warehouse colleagues to ensure stock availability supports fulfilment requirements.
  • Using operational data and KPIs to identify issues, improve performance and support decision-making.
  • Maintaining high standards of health and safety, housekeeping and operational discipline.

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience leading high-volume fulfilment, warehouse or distribution operations.
  • Strong people management skills with experience leading supervisors, team leaders or shift managers.
  • Excellent labour planning and operational control capabilities.
  • Good understanding of picking, packing and dispatch processes.
  • Experience using operational data and performance metrics to drive results.
  • A pragmatic, hands-on leadership style with a passion for coaching and developing teams.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and the ability to implement change effectively.
