Full Stack AI Data Engineer

Python | Snowflake | GenAI | FastAPI | AWS

Fully Remote | Outside IR35 | UK based
3-month contract initially

Build production AI applications from the ground up.
We're looking for an experienced Full Stack AI Data Engineer to join a growing AI consultancy delivering cutting-edge enterprise AI solutions for global organisations.

This isn't a traditional Data Engineering role.
It isn't a Full Stack Developer position.
It isn't purely an AI Engineering role.

We're looking for someone who combines all three.

You'll design modern data platforms, build scalable APIs and applications, integrate Large Language Models, and deliver production-grade AI solutions that solve real business problems.
If you've built AI applications end-to-end—not just experimented with ChatGPT APIs—we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

You'll own the full lifecycle of AI product delivery, including:

  • Designing modern cloud data platforms
  • Building scalable Python services using FastAPI
  • Creating modern web applications (Next.js or similar)
  • Designing robust data models and data pipelines
  • Developing production-ready AI applications using RAG, AI Agents and LLMs
  • Building AI workflows with tool calling and evaluation frameworks
  • Deploying cloud-native solutions into AWS
  • Designing architecture and making key technical decisions
  • Working directly with stakeholders to shape solutions

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
