Hawksworth is recruiting a Full Stack AI Engineer to join a growing technology company building a new AI-native digital platform for the Energy and Oil & Gas industry.
This is a genuinely hands-on engineering role working on a new platform that will integrate with some of the world's largest Energy organisations.
Location: London – Flexible/Hybrid working
Salary: Up to £90,000 base + benefits including private medical

Essential skills and experience:
- Strong Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript development
- React / Vite
- PostgreSQL
- Automated testing / TDD – ideally Jest / Vitest
- Git, pull requests and strong software engineering practices
- AI / LLM application development – agents, tools, integrations and LLM APIs, Anthropic/ Claude
- Azure DevOps / CI/CD experience
Desirable skills and experience:
- Experience across Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, Entra ID, Bicep, Helm and Infrastructure as Code
- An Oil & Gas / Energy industry background
