Full Stack / AI Engineer (Founding)
We're building the AI operations layer for healthcare, starting with dental practices.
Every practice runs on the same broken infrastructure: phones ringing that nobody can answer, patient information scattered across systems and sticky notes, clinicians and reception teams burning hours on repetitive admin that has nothing to do with patient care. The tooling that exists was built for billing, not for how a practice actually runs day to day. We're changing that.
We're building an AI-powered operating system that answers and triages incoming calls, captures and structures patient information, flags cases that need attention, drives callback and follow-up workflows, and gives the practice one clear dashboard of what actually needs to be actioned today.
One hard line: we don't touch clinical decision-making. The system gathers, organises and surfaces. Humans decide. That boundary is what earns trust in healthcare, and it's non-negotiable in how we build.
We're starting with dentistry because our founder has worked inside practices on both the clinical and front-desk side and knows exactly where the time goes. The ambition is the administrative infrastructure for healthcare practices far more broadly.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

We're early. Pre-seed. There is a working MVP and now need a founding engineer to take it from proof to product.
The problem space:
- AI agents and voice workflows
- Practice management system integrations
- Structured data extraction from messy, unstructured input
- Reliability and observability for AI in a regulated environment
- Cloud infrastructure and data protection under UK GDPR
You'll:
- Own the technical direction of the product from day one
- Harden and rebuild the MVP into something practices can depend on
- Design and ship the practice management system integration layer
- Make AI behaviour predictable, auditable, and safe to put in front of clinical staff
- Work directly with the founder on product strategy, not just delivery
You are:
- A builder first, comfortable across the full stack
- Serious about AI beyond thin LLM wrappers, especially reliability and evaluation
- Energised by unglamorous real-world problems rather than demo-friendly ones
- Comfortable being the only engineer for a while
- Able to work with a founder who knows the domain cold and the code partially
- Based in or within travel distance of London

Your very own career expert that helps elevate your application to the next level.
You are NOT:
- Looking for a spec handed to you every morning
- Chasing whichever category is hot this quarter
- Waiting for a team to be hired around you
- After a low commitment side project
What matters most:
Conviction, and tolerance for the unglamorous. Healthcare admin is not a category people brag about at parties. It is a category where the software is genuinely bad, the buyers are genuinely underserved, and the person who fixes it will own something durable. We want someone who finds that more interesting than the alternative.
What we can offer:
- Meaningful founding equity, sized for someone taking real risk this early
- Genuine co-ownership of technical direction, not delegated tasks
- A founder with deep domain access and existing relationships in the industry
- Honest terms: this is equity-first today, with cash compensation introduced at raise. We'd rather tell you that now than three conversations in.
