Role Overview

The Associate Consultant – Full Stack & Cloud Engineering is an early-career consulting role designed for ambitious software engineers who want to combine technical excellence with professional consulting.

Unlike traditional graduate software engineering roles, our Associate Consultants work directly alongside experienced consultants and client stakeholders from the outset. You'll contribute to enterprise software delivery, cloud engineering, DevOps, Data & AI initiatives, technical workshops and solution design while developing the consulting skills required to become a trusted technology advisor.

This role offers exposure to the complete software delivery lifecycle - from requirements gathering and solution architecture through to development, cloud deployment, client presentations and ongoing support.

Whether you join as a recent graduate or with a small amount of commercial experience, you'll receive structured mentoring, hands-on project experience and continuous professional development to accelerate your career.

About Cloud Elemental

We work alongside our clients to solve complex engineering problems, modernise technology platforms and build scalable cloud-native solutions.

If you're looking for an environment where you'll be challenged, supported and trusted with real responsibility from the beginning, we'd love to hear from you.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
